How to use:
- Cooking – Heat your Himalayan Pink Salt Blocks to high temperatures and can be used for cooking just about anything: meats, fish, vegetables, seafood, and other quick-cooking foods. You can use them indoors on your stovetop or oven, or outside on the grill or under fire.
- Chilling – Try resting or chilling foods in the fridge on a salt block to give them a mild, delicious salty flavour.
- Curing – Add salty flavor to your favorite foods including meat, beef, pork, fish, vegetables and more! The salinity of the block will begin working when food comes in contact with a block, meaning you can make everything from gravlax (slightly cured salmon) to beef jerky.
- Presenting – How about using a salt block to present a delicious serving of sashimi, or a charcuterie plate, or even a scoop or two of ice cream? Place the salt slab in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours to cool and place cold food on top to add some natural salty flavor and retain food freshness.

Himalayan Pink Salt Blocks care:
- Heat it slowly. The first couple of times you use your block, heat it slowly. Simply place it in the oven or under fire then gradually increase the temperature in 15-30 minutes increments until it reaches very high heat.
- Start with a dry salt block. Make sure it is completely dry and at room temperature before you begin heating.
- Changes are normal. Heating can cause your salt block to develop small cracks and naturally change color over time. Try to always cook on the same side to keep cracks from worsening.
- Don’t submerge your block in water. Water dissolves salt, so it’s best to clean your block with a damp sponge instead. Stubborn areas can be scrubbed with a scouring pad or soft brush.
- Wrap it up. Once clean and dry, store it somewhere cool and dry. We suggest you wrap the block in plastic wrap to prevent moisture from pooling.
